With an eye to the future, he clarifies that we should not think that the drought situation has been overcome thanks to the recent rains, but that we should continue to be attentive. Luis \u00c1lvarez, professor of Geography PUCV and Master in Urbanism, specifies that a normal year should be above 440 millimeters and we are just close to 200. The last bad weather fronts that have been registered in the area have returned optimism and with it the temptation to think that the drought that has affected the area is beginning to dissipate.
