Chile currently has more than 600 contaminated lands that are inserted in urban environments, which represent a problem for their sectors, but at the same time an opportunity to recover them to be reinserted into the urban fabric and open them to the community. There are various formulas for remediating contaminated land, which is why it developed the , which condenses the different tools developed over the last few years by the organization, “which aim to standardize and support the decision-making of key actors in the Management of Contaminated Sites in Chile, ultimately helping to seek a balance between industrial development, social welfare and respect for our environment”.
