Las Salinas informs that on October 18 it submitted to the Environmental Impact Assessment Service the Addendum to the “Las Salinas Land Reclamation” project. In it, the company responds to the Consolidated Report of Clarifications, Rectifications or Extensions, ICSARA, which was issued by the environmental authority in March and contains the observations of both the services and the community of Vina del Mar. The date of entry of the Addendum was submitted to the authority for consideration last May, given the need to make modifications to respond to some of the ICSARA’s queries. The Environmental Assessment Service approved the date that same month (Exempt Resolution 147/2019) and, since then, Las Salinas has communicated it publicly on different occasions. This procedure is part of the evaluation process that the Jorge Montt Avenue land remediation project is undergoing, using the on-site bioremediation technique.
