On December 5, 2018 and in accordance with the provisions of Law 19,300 on General Bases of the Environment amended by Law 20,417, and the Regulations of the Environmental Impact Assessment System (RSEIA) S.D. No. 40/2012 of the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency, amended by S.D. No. 8/2014 of the Ministry of Environment; Inmobiliaria Las Salinas Ltda., has submitted to the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA), the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the Project. The Environmental Impact Study of the Project “Saneamiento del Terreno las Salinas” is available for consultation by interested parties at the office of the Environmental Assessment Service, Valparaíso Region, located at 827 Prat Street, office 301, Valparaíso, on the following days and hours: Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 13:00 hours; at the Municipality of Viña del Mar, located at Arlegui 615, Viña del Mar, with opening hours from 09:00 to 14:00 hours, and at the Regional Government, located at Melgarejo 669, floors 7 and 10 with opening hours from 09:00 to 14:00 hours. It is also available on the web page of the Environmental Evaluation Service (Servicio de Evaluación Ambiental). In accordance with Article No. 29 of Law 19,300, any natural or legal person may submit their comments, duly justified and in writing, or through the Environmental Assessment Service website, making express reference to the project and indicating their name, taxpayer ID number and address or e-mail address, as appropriate. In the case of legal entities, they must also accredit their respective legal status and representation in force. These observations must be sent to the Environmental Assessment Service of the Valparaíso Region, at the address indicated above, within 60 working days (i.e., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and counted from the date of the last publication of this extract in the Official Gazette and in a newspaper or periodical of the regional capital).
