Las Salinas described the visit by members of the Environmental Court to the site located on Jorge Montt Street in Viña del Mar as a positive instance. During the tour carried out today, July 2, it was possible to see all the work that is being done in favor of the definitive remediation. The activity was led by the ministers of the Second Environmental Court, who inspected the site together with representatives of the Environmental Evaluation Service (SEA), as well as the claimants and the technical team of Las Salinas. After the inspection visit, Las Salinas continues the preparation work for the last stage of the land remediation, which will be carried out by means of bioremediation, a technique widely recognized worldwide, which is characterized by its effectiveness in terms of results and safety for people and the environment. As announced by the company a few months ago, this work will be carried out by Séché Group, a French company with vast experience in the field, which will be the main contractor in this project that will allow reintegrating the soils to new city uses in Viña del Mar.
