During the first half of the year, we launched our “Las Salinas” program, an instance designed to bring children and adolescents, in a playful way, closer to the knowledge and activities that are being carried out in Las Salinas. As part of this initiative, we addressed relevant topics such as bioremediation, the importance of soil recovery and our urban vision, highlighting the role of the plant laboratory and its positive impact on urban environments. Our first visitors were the school’s first grade students, with whom we were able to share an educational and entertaining day. During the activity, through games, drawings and dynamics specially prepared for children, we delved into the world of the native flora of our city, learning how it helps to mitigate the effects of climate change by saving water and attracting pollinators such as mosquitoes, bees and birds.
