The Las Salinas environmental project contemplates the application of the Bioremediation technique. Although it is a somewhat unknown alternative in our country, these processes are widely used worldwide. In order to clearly explain the scope of the application of bioremediation to clean up the Las Salinas site, we approached experts in the health area of Viña del Mar, and were able to hold meetings with the Medical Association of Valparaiso (28-09-2020) and with the Almirante Nef Naval Hospital (08-10-2020), the latter located near the site. In both instances, the development manager of Las Salinas, Esteban Undurraga, made a complete presentation where he explained in detail the sanitation project that was approved by the environmental authority, and the neighborhood proposal for the future. He then received questions and comments from the attendees, which were answered by Esteban Undurraga. Finally, the material presented was sent to the attendees as a backup and for future reference.
