Las Salinas is a small group, but we work with a network of expert collaborators who guide us and help us to move forward in each of the processes we undertake. In order to present an update on the complete panorama of the work we are doing at Las Salinas and to be able to move forward aligned around the project, on Tuesday, June 18, we held a general team meeting, with the participation of our consultants from the engineering, legal, scientific and community areas. During the meeting, the progress made in both the environmental and urban dimensions was presented and each of the variables was discussed. As indicated by the project development manager, Esteban Undurraga, this is “a remediation project that goes beyond remediating the land, an integral solution, seeing the opportunity to do something with urban quality”. At the end of the day, Arturo Natho, General Manager of Las Salinas, thanked the collaborators for “their support, enthusiasm, opinions and disagreements, which is part of what we have been building along the way and which allows us to move forward in generating a contribution for the city that will last for many years”. In the words of one of the attendees, the challenge is “how to do this well from all approaches and all points of view, feeling that we are doing something that makes sense, environmentally, socially, culturally, etc.”.
