We share the update of the Barrio Las Salinas Master Plan with Copec’s team.

In the framework of the opening of new offices for our friends from COPEC Viña, with whom we share a building in Jorge Montt, we conducted a talk so that they also know in depth the master plan of Barrio Las Salinas. Each one of the executives of Copec Viña is, in a way, an ambassador of the Las Salinas project, considering that they have occupied these offices for years, and therefore are a testimonial part of the historical transformation of the city, since they still keep alive the memory of when they worked next to “the oil companies”. The refurbishment of the new Copec offices is part of the process of installing Las Salinas in the emblematic Jorge Montt building. The Barrio Las Salinas project must go through the environmental qualification, remediation and urbanization process, which will take several years. In this context, the Copec team is improving its offices while awaiting this urban transformation, being incorporated – during the renovation process – in the ILS offices, located on the second floor of the building. “Now we have the best office in Viña, but we are still far from everything”…. Perhaps that phrase that emerged from the conversation reflects the need to build city and integral access to this landscape, one of the most privileged sectors of Viña. For Las Salinas it makes sense that in the future there will be many more offices like this one, but with the possibility of living and accessing everything the city has to offer, such as new green areas, equipment, culture and, of course, our precious waterfront.
